Subject: Thank YOU

Louise- I just had an opportunity to listen to you speak at Paycor and I wanted to express my gratitude. Some things I took away; if your attitude is gratitude you will no longer focus on the things you don't have. Also, there is very little that goes as planned in life. If you don't let this discourage you, you will likely find the real purpose of your life. I had an uncle that was extremely intelligent and had big dreams of a hugely successful life. He did have a hugely successful life, but not in the way he thought. When he was 18 he was in an accident that blinded him. He ran his own business advocating for the mentally and physically handicapped. Since his loss of sight had some limitations, he lived next door to us my entire life. I don't think he would have lived there if he wasn't blind, and for that I am grateful.

Dear Louise,

I just caught the last ten minutes of Larry King Live on CNN, and then decided to read about your life. I just wanted to say that I was impressed with your determination and your strong will. I am currently suffering from Bell’s Palsy, which is nothing compared to your troubles, and a herniated disc in my neck. I have to schedule surgery to correct the disc, which scares me to no end. Surgery on an area around the spinal column just scares me. My wife is six months pregnant with twins, and I need to be strong, both mentally and physically. I hope I can be as strong as you, and I should come out okay. Thanks for listening and I hope you the best.

Take care,
Brian
